FISE Program:
The Tulare City Fire Department has partnered with the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation to bring an in-school program, FISE, to the Tulare City School District. The goal of FISE is to bring burn prevention to "each child, each year" in schools and in the students' native languages. The FISE program is a 30-minute presentation taught by firefighters who volunteer to be trained to bring live-saving information to their communities.

FISE curriculum teaches 7 key skills:
(1) Stop, Drop & Roll (2) Cool-A-Burn (3) Crawl Low & Go (4) Hug a firefighter (5) Smoke Alarm (6) Toys vs Tools (7) 9-1-1
