Our Story

Principal's Message
The 2023-2024 school year has arrived! It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to welcome you to Cypress Elementary School. I am extremely proud of the opportunities Cypress has to offer our students, staff, and families. In addition to our rigorous academic program, we offer many activities to help students become well-rounded students of character. Cypress Elementary will continue to strive to create a sense of community and family on our campus.  This atmosphere will be created as all staff, students, parents, guardians, and family members work together and communicate to create a positive learning environment for the students. I encourage you to get involved and make your time at Cypress as rewarding as possible!

Cypress Elementary School is committed to the education and growth of kindergarten through sixth-grade children within the Tulare community. We express our values in the Cypress Elementary School Mission Statement: "Children take control of their learning and discover the joy of developing their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical strengths."

In these formative years of your child’s life, Cypress Elementary is focused on helping our students create a love of learning that will last long into the future. Everyone in the Cypress community works diligently to ensure this mission comes to fruition for all Cypress Scorpions!
